Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP (SA&M) represented client CarbonBuilt, a company with proprietary technology for removing CO2 from industrial emissions in concrete production, in its $10 million Series A funding round led by Grantham Environmental Trust’s Neglected Climate Opportunities, with participation from Tony Pritzker, Lime Street Ventures, Climate Capital, YouWeb IV: Impact, Foundamental, and others. CarbonBuilt will be using the new financing to expand its team, further enhance its technology platform, and develop the company’s first commercial projects for the concrete masonry market.
