Mark Brutzkus recently spoke to Rolling Stone regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding Kanye West and his brand deals. Recently, Adidas terminated its contract with the rapper under which the Yeezy products fell. However, the company will now be utilizing the product line under new branding.
This decision could result in a lawsuit from Kanye for the ownership of designs that were developed while the partnership was still in place. Mark explained, “[Adidas is] staking claim to the designs, which was one of the fights that [West] was having with Adidas because he felt they were knocking them off and using it with non-Yeezy products in their brands.”
