
Greg Akselrud is a Founder and Partner of Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He Chairs the firm’s Internet, Digital Media and Entertainment Practice Group and focuses his practice on corporate and business matters, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and emerging growth companies.
Greg represents founders, companies, and investors across a range of industries, including entertainment, digital media, internet, technology, software, mobile, and consumer-facing businesses. He advises clients throughout the full lifecycle of their companies, from formation and early-stage financing to strategic transactions and exits, bringing a practical, business-focused approach at each stage of growth.
His practice includes advising on venture capital and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex strategic transactions. He also regularly structures and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements, particularly those involving content, technology, licensing, and brand partnerships, with a focus on businesses operating in digital and entertainment-driven markets.
Greg works closely with founders, executives, and investors on both strategic transactions and day-to-day corporate matters, providing clear, actionable guidance aligned with each client’s business objectives in fast-moving and highly competitive industries.
In addition to his practice, Greg has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he taught Business Planning I: Financing the Start-Up Business and Venture Capital Financing.
