Kevin DeBré will lead a Fireside Chat and Mixer on April 9th, in Santa Barbara, as part of the CNSI x Innovators Circle Spring Mixer. Kevin’s fireside conversation, “Fundraising in Practice: Lessons from the Field,” will share practical insights into how entrepreneurs can effectively and successfully build relationships with investors throughout all processes of financing and negotiation. Kevin will be joined by esteemed professionals Alex Fang, Entrada Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Partner, and David Kramer, Angel Investor, to communicate the “soft skills” deemed necessary by investors in fundraising negotiations with attendees. Following their conversation, there will be a question-and-answer and mixer session.
Stubbs Alderton & Markiles is pleased to sponsor the spring mixer, which brings together two important organizations in California entrepreneurship and innovation. UCSB’s California NanoSystems Institute is a research and discovery facility at both the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the University of California, Los Angeles, that fosters nanosystems research, facilitates technological and scientific innovation, and builds the next era of leaders. UCSB’s Innovators Circle is composed of university alumni, investors, and entrepreneurs dedicated to developing the university’s startup ecosystem.
