Heather Antoine Shares Best Practices for a Global Trademark Presence at IPWatchdog LIVE

Heather Antoine, Chair of the Trademark & Brand Protection Practice and Co-Chair of the Privacy & Data Security Practice, recently served as a featured speaker on the panel discussion, “International Trademark Rights: Best Practices for a Trademark Global Presence." The panel took place during IPWatchdog LIVE, a premier intellectual property conference bringing together IP attorneys, dealmakers, inventors, technology transfer specialists and policy experts. 

Drawing upon her expertise and extensive experience in IP law, Heather shared insight on the process of establishing trademarks globally, including using methods such as the Madrid Protocol, and remarked upon how the approach to enforcing infringement violations can vary by country due to cultural considerations. As the discussion came to a close, she reminded the audience of the value that trademarks bring to brands.
