Dan Rozansky was recently featured in a Rolling Stone article entitled “Johnny Depp Stans Rushed to Fork Over Cash for Unsealed Court Docs. Did It Backfire?”
The article details key points of nearly 6,600 pages of newly unsealed documents in the Depp v. Heard trial that were released last weekend, and it analyzes whether these documents are likely to impact the public’s perception of the case. The documents contain pretrial discovery motions including critical points of contention, such as the omission of Depp’s relationship with Marilyn Manson and insight into Depp’s “strained relationship with Disney.”
“People have their minds made up about the two of them after that trial,” Dan says. “Based on what I’ve seen so far, I don’t know that anything really moves the needle in terms of changing public perception.”
Depp and Heard have until September 5th to file official appeals in which the pretrial discovery may resurface in the courtroom.
