Taylor Osher is an Associate at the Firm. Taylor focuses her practice on trademark and brand protection, transactional intellectual property, compliance, and commercial matters with a business-centered, practical approach. She partners with clients across industries to design and implement legal strategies that support brand growth, manage risk, and enable scalable operations.

Her trademark practice encompasses comprehensive brand management counseling, including clearance and enforcement strategy, portfolio development, and disputes. She represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) and advises on internet-related IP matters, including domain disputes under the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and other digital enforcement challenges.

Taylor also advises on data privacy and artificial intelligence compliance with a focus on operational integration and risk mitigation. She counsels clients on state and international privacy laws, including the GDPR, emerging U.S. state privacy laws, and AI compliance and governance frameworks.

In addition, Taylor handles a range of commercial and employment-adjacent matters. She negotiates and drafts data processing agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and related commercial contracts.

Prior to joining SAM, Taylor worked in-house as a Contracts and Compliance Analyst for a startup in the wine and e-commerce space, where she focused on trademark clearance, data privacy compliance, and operationalizing a privacy-by-design framework for the business. That experience informs her practical counseling style and commitment to aligning legal solutions with real-world business needs.

Taylor earned her B.A. from the University of Southern California, and she earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was a recipient of the Loyola scholarship and graduated with a concentration in cybersecurity and data privacy. During law school, she was a member of the Entertainment Law Society and IP & Cybersecurity Law Society.
