What kind of company succeeds in Biotech? What’s in the Biotech entrepreneur’s
“DNA” that’s key to a company making it? This Saturday’s program will investigate the complex “business and technical ecosystem” that nurtures a viable Biotech Company and drives it to success.  We will examine questions and issues such as: Opportunities for entrepreneurs in biotech that do not require large capital investment; areas of University biotech research likely to yield commercial applications; the nature of cross-disciplinary teams required to succeed in Biotech today; i.e., the roles of expertise in biochemistry, computer science, data analysis techniques, physics, mechanical engineering and mathematics; methods and sources of financing; levels of regulatory compliance to bring products to market.
